Getting a haircut...

Everyone goes through this feeling, this dredgeful feeling of getting a haircut. It's almost like jumping through loops just to find "The One", "the one" in this aspect is someone you trust that will give you a good cut not your forever lover. Because if you have a shitty cut well.... you gotta live with it for a month or however long it takes for your hair to grow back. You research, you "yelp", you ask around... "How much is it?!" "WTF 50 bucks?!" "Wait what? 10 bucks?" "Now I know why it's 10 bucks...." "goes spend another 40 to fix the 10 dollar cut"

Our hair is a representation of us, it's a way to boost our confidence, I can't say it's the same for females but I could maybe safely guess it works for everyone. I only know from a men's perspective and I can tell you ever since Elementary school (4th grade or so) I knew how important my haircut was to me. It made me feel accepted, made me feel "cool", whatever that meant in elementary school. Now you're older, you're willing to spend a couple extra bucks for a decent cut but the fear of finding someone whose bad is anxiety at it's finest. BUT once you find the person who really cuts your hair well, you stay with them foreverrrrrrr. You become close, they get to know your life, your story and hopefully you get to know theirs as well. It can be intimate or maybe it's not, depends on how deep you go. Sometimes your barber or stylist can know more stuff about yourself than your actual family / friends. Amazing how much we're willing to share with people who are strangers vs people who we are close too... Haircuts, everyone hates getting one but you feel like a million bucks when you get it done right.

I was never a blogger but lately I want to share more with my thoughts and words. A lot of my posts will just be free flowing thoughts coming from me. Nothing structured, hopefully inspirational.
